Dear Party People,

I will be running to be your commodore next year, and although you may have no choice, it is a great choice to have.

Here is my agenda for next year:

• Resolve driver issues - recently the club has been experiencing some serious transport problems which is something that is very high up my priority list
• Imperial Sailing has always been known for having strong sailors but next year I would like to push this further by encouraging attending more events for first and second teams
• Royal Thames - I would like to explore more connections with Royal Thames Yacth club which I think could be very beneficial for both parties, e.g. getting involved with racing, socials in the Yacht Club
• Social Sailing - Club growth is also very high up in my priorities, the way I picture sailing is that people even with no sailing experience should have the opportunity to learn and get involved with racing. Or more casual sailors should feel very welcome to go for a relaxed sail and come to socials

I look forward to the coming year and welcoming a fresh round of freshers with open arms.
