Hi ICSC people,

For those who don’t know me, I’m Polina, and I might be your president next year x

I’ve had quite the committee journey in ICSC, from being Women’s Race Captain in my second year to being Secretary now. I’ve been a very active member of Snowsports ever since the Scotland trip in first year, where I turned up purely because I love skiing and was somehow convinced it was a training weekend. Spoiler: I didn’t even ski during this year’s Scotland, but that’s because I tore my ACL during ICSC ski trip last year. That said, I can assure you I’m on a strong physio path and fully planning to be back in top form for next year’s trip.

Joe, this year’s president, has done an amazing job keeping the club going with such high energy. I’m committed to keeping all club activities at a high standard next year too - all the ski trips, racing events, freestyle sessions, and most importantly the beginner sessions, because making Snowsports accessible to everyone is such a big part of what makes this club so good.

I’ve had an absolute blast being part of this club over the years, and with my fellow committee members I’ll make sure you all have just as much fun too. I want to help keep building ICSC into the kind of club people want to keep showing up for.
