Hello! I'm Christopher Ricketts :)
With previous experience in the committee as wellbeing events organiser, I want to ensure our society continues to thrive and grow. If elected, I'll do my very best in making sure the most successesful events of previous years are repeated to an exemplary standard. With great vibes and better company.
If you elect me as Chairman I will:
- Dedicate myself to ensuring the Bioengineering Society holds a strong voice at the CGCU. Gaining adequate funding for your events and material.
- Ensure our society holds exciting, year round career, wellbeing and social events. With at least seven events, two of these being major events, per term.
- Expand Bioengineering's reach. I will increase our collaboration with societies both inside and outside campus. Increased dialogue between us and other universities' bioengineering and biotech societies will expand our social and industrial reach as well as your connections with student and professional bioengineers from across the UK.
- Increase event location diversity. As a society it is important that we provide new, interesting experiences during your time in your course.
- Listen to your voice. Opening up event suggestions and recommendations to beyond just the committee. Using polling and forms to ensure you can easily contribute to the direction of the society throughout the year.
