Hey Everyone, I’m Ben - your current Treasurer and Principal Cellist. I’ve been lucky enough to make music with ICSO for 3 years now, and this year I’m running for ICSO Chair to give you the representation and leadership that you deserve.

ICSO represents Imperial at its highest musical level. Performing at prestigious venues and maintaining a high standard requires serious organisation and professionalism. That’s our outward-facing side. But we’re also STEM students at one of the most demanding universities in the world. Our degrees come first, and ICSO should remain a welcoming, stress-free space to unwind, socialise, and make great music together.

As Chair, I want to:

• Strengthen patron and sponsor engagement to make ICSO more financially sustainable.
• Encourage and facilitate wider orchestral or chamber music opportunities, whether through collaborations, external performances, or member-led projects.
• Introduce more regular socials to make ICSO an even more enjoyable community to be part of.

At the heart of this orchestra is its welcoming atmosphere and friendly community. Without you, we simply wouldn’t have ICSO.
