Hello Fellwanderers, I am Matty, your current Deputy President Tours and a second year physics student running to take up the position of Deputy President Equipment. Why would I be suited for Deputy President Equipment, surely I would be better suited to run logistics given my previous role? Well, as Deputy President of Tours, I have gained significant experience in managing the logistical side of the society, which includes the equipment it possesses. In my new role, I would work to ensure that our gear remains at a high standard and look to expand the gear we possess, enabling more ambitious hikes in the future.
