Hi everyone, I'm Ming Guo, and I'm running for Vice-President (Postgraduate Studies).
I am a first-year Biological Sciences student, and you might be wondering why is he running for this position? Well, I'm a lot closer in age to you than you might think (21y/o), and I plan on pursuing postgraduate studies after my undergraduate studies, so I wanted to get involved in the postgraduate community.
To me, this role is about representation and being available to listen to the problems you may raise and bring them to the RCSU and Imperial College for appropriate action.
I served in the Army as a Lieutenant leading soldiers daily, and I believe I know what it means to listen and represent others even when things get rough and tough.
