Loven Kumar

Hey everyone! I am Loven Kumar from Karachi, Pakistan. I can speak English, Urdu, Hindi and Sindhi fluently. I am in Stream Kensington and am running for EFDS society presidency and EFDS well-being representative.

I have a strong passion for Economics research and Financial Theories aiming towards Investment Banking. I believe I am a great fit for this role because I aim act as a bridge between students and staff by gathering honest feedback on workload, deadlines, and course pressures, and raising concerns constructively. I aim to collect anonymous feedbacks to get an idea of course wellbeing, host wellbeing workshops and other events to ease stress. I also hope to organise small, low-pressure socials and study sessions that encourage connection and bonding. My goal is to ensure every student feels heard, supported, and comfortable seeking help when needed.

My aim as Wellbeing Representative is to create a more open, supportive, and connected course community by posting resources, gathering honest feedback, and fostering small but meaningful wellbeing initiatives throughout the year.
