Ceylin Akdas

Hii everyone! I’m Ceylin Akdas, and I’m running to be your RCSU Sponsorship Officer.

RCSU runs amazing events and opportunities for students, but strong sponsorships are what help make them bigger, more accessible, and more exciting. As Sponsorship Officer, I want to build partnerships that directly benefit our student community.

I will actively reach out to companies to expand our sponsorship network. Imperial students are highly sought after, and I want to use that to build meaningful partnerships that support RCSU activities.

Sponsorship should translate into visible benefits for students. I will work to secure funding for society events, career talks with industry professionals, and student perks such as sponsored snacks or refreshments during exam periods or discounts during major RCSU events.

Maintaining good relationships with sponsors is essential. I will ensure that all sponsorship agreements are well organised, transparent, and aligned with ICU regulations, helping RCSU build partnerships that last beyond one year.

I’m organised, proactive, and excited about helping RCSU grow its external connections.

If elected, I will work to make sure sponsorships bring more opportunities, stronger connections, and better events for all RCSU students.
