Hello everyone!
For the past three years, I’ve been so inspired by how inclusive and welcoming Imperial is to the LGBTQ+ community. I used to be shy and afraid to identify as who I really am, but now, I’m brave enough to stand out and have my voice heard.
Every time I see someone wearing a rainbow lanyard, every time I see an event held for our community, and every time I feel welcomed by all of you—it reminds me of how far I’ve come. I want to keep that positive loop going! I want to help support our community and make sure our voices are front and center.
On a personal level, I’d love to meet more people like me—to connect with others who share similar experiences and to help create a space where everyone feels like they truly belong. I know this is a big step, but running for this position is exactly how I want to start.
