Hi everyone <3

I am Stef - a chemistry student in my penultimate year, currently completing a placement year at AstraZeneca.

I had the honour of serving as your RCSU VP Welfare 2024-25 and am re-running for this role.

In addition to serving as your VP (Welfare), I have also held the role of RCSU VP (Activities) 23-24, Culture Sector Treasurer 24-25 and am currently acting as the Chair of Sports Sector.

Through these roles I have:

• Created the RCSU VP (Postgards) role and am planning to work on increasing Postgraduate representation with a focus on White City students.
• Introduced unprecedented events such as Puppy therapy.
• Pushed for more part time jobs at the college and the Union.
• Pushed for more prayer rooms.
• Introduced an alumni career panel and planning on expanding this.
• Hosted the 2024 Science Challenge ceremony and contributed to Broadsheet organisation.
• Sat on Summer Ball and commercial stirring groups.

As your VP Welfare, I plan to:

• Continue working on the above.
• Amplify student voices at Faculty and Union level.
• Run consistent and inclusive relaxed wellbeing events.
• Increase support for students applying to industrial placements/ internships.
• Keep working on assesment and feedback.
• Push for more resources on sustainable, efficient and responsible use of generative AI.
• Advocate for better support for international students.
• Push for more affordable meals.
• Clear Mitigating Circumstances policy.
