This past year, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as CGCU Secretary, helping keep the gears of our engineering union turning — from managing communications and records to making sure meetings actually lead to action (and that important emails don’t vanish into the depths of our inboxes).
I’m running again because I’ve genuinely loved being part of CGCU and working to support the engineering community at Imperial. It’s a role that sits right at the centre of how CGCU functions, and I’m excited about continuing to build on what we’ve started this year.
If re-elected, my focus will be on three things:
Keeping communication clear and accessible
Making sure students know what CGCU is doing, what opportunities are available, and how to get involved.
Strengthening the connection with students
Helping ensure CGCU remains open, approachable, and truly representative of Imperial engineers.
Keeping CGCU running smoothly
Supporting the committee behind the scenes so initiatives, events, and ideas can move forward efficiently.
CGCU represents all engineering students at Imperial, and it’s something I’m proud to be part of. I’d be very excited to continue contributing to a union that is organised, transparent, and engaged with its students.
