I'm Angela Sobhieh, running for MRes AI & ML Rep at Imperial. I genuinely care about this course and our community. During my undergraduate exchange abroad, I helped found an international students organisation that brought together over 50 students from 20 nationalities, coordinating meet-ups and peer support. I’ve also mentored peers and organised student events with steady follow-through.
As rep, I’ll listen first and communicate clearly—regular updates, open drop-ins, and an anonymous feedback channel. I’ll work with staff to fix issues during modules and improve fair access to compute and research resources. I’ll help spotlight and showcase our work, strengthen alumni links, and highlight this young MRes’s significance across Imperial and the wider AI community.
