Mental Health: Community Engagement Officer

Imperial life can be intense, competitive, and academically demanding, and that’s exactly why mental health must always come first.

Hi everyone! My name is Chenhao. Today I would like to share my policies with you:

1. Weekly Wellbeing Feedback System

I will introduce a weekly online feedback form for wellbeing representatives for every department, which allows them to submit suggestions for community activities and report any wellbeing trend.

2.Monthly Wellbeing Drop-in Meetings

I will organise a monthly drop-in meeting with wellbeing representatives, so we can discuss any mental-health problems students are facing and try to solve them.

3. Termly Mental-Health Assessment

Once per term, I will implement a confidential questionnaire for students across the campus, which focuses on four aspects to assess our mental health: emotion, thoughts, behaviours, and physical wellbeing.

By analyzing the anonymised data, I'll write a assessment report and reach out to those who need help.

I understand the stress of living here, but I’ll try my best to make sure no one faces it alone. Together, we can make our uni life even better! Thank you for your vote!
