Faiz Lunat

Hi!! My name is Faiz and I am running to become course rep for MSc Epidemiology. There's many reasons why I think I'm a good candidate for this but there is one reason that makes the decision of where to place your vote a no-brainer: I'm the only one running.

With that being said I will put forward some campaign promises that I hope will inspire some anticipation for what I intend to accomplish as course rep:

- Facilitate connections between lecturers and researchers in the school of public health to ensure you are equipped to develop your research project.

- Organise socials when people want them. You're bored and been wanting to go to the National Gallery? Ask me and I'll plan it.

- Organise a Christmas Dinner for Epidemiology students

- Create a shared resource hub for sharing notes, articles of interest and R cheat sheets.

- Organise group study sessions in the run up to exams.

- Create feedback surveys for all courses if you would like to raise issues or say something nice.

- Liase with the course reps for Health Data Analytics and Public Health to organise a summer sports day and a graduation party.

It's been a pleasure getting to know you guys these past few weeks and I hope, through this role, I get to meet those I have not yet had a chance to speak to!
