Asha de Silva

I am Asha, an autistic maths and computing 2nd year student.

As welfare officer for neurodiversity society, I'll be in activities during society events to make sure everyone is involved and comfortable. I'll be a first contact for anyone in the society to reach out to for wellbeing issues as well as signposting any mental health or wellbeing concerns brought to our attention. I will do my best to make sure everyone feels welcome in the society, at events and in group chat discussions and focus on encouraging all members to get involved with society events. I would also like to run an event or two, like an arts and crafts event.
