Tanya Gracias
Hi! I’m Tanya Gracias, a third-year Biochemistry student. Having been part of the Bioscience Review for two years, first as a writer and then as an editor, I have loved contributing to the team and seeing our articles come to life.
As Events Officer, I will:
-
Strengthen the IBR community by organising engaging social events such as pub quizzes and networking events to help members get to know each other and encourage more active participation.
-
Run sessions and writing workshops where writers can meet with their group editors, exchange feedback, collaborate on ideas, and develop their skills in science communication.
-
Coordinate academic events including visits to research institutions like the Francis Crick Institute and the Institute of Cancer Research, as well as attending Imperial Life Sciences Seminars to inspire article ideas.
I am excited about the opportunity to contribute further to the society and would appreciate your support!
