With a background that bridges science, law, and innovation, I am eager to contribute to Imperial’s entrepreneurial ecosystem as a Senior Events Manager. During my undergraduate studies in Neuroscience and Mathematics at Columbia University, I led a research lab project, which strengthened my managerial and organizational skills. Coordinating experiments, mentoring team members, and managing timelines taught me how to balance creativity with structure which is a mindset I now bring to entrepreneurial endeavors. In parallel, my involvement in the Women in STEM Club, where I helped plan events connecting PhD students and undergraduates, developed my ability to foster collaboration and community across academic levels.
After Columbia, I pursued law with a focus on patents, driven by a fascination with how scientific ideas transition from research to real-world applications. Working on intellectual property issues deepened my understanding of innovation ecosystems and the importance of strategic communication and coordination in transforming discoveries into impactful ventures.
Now completing a master’s in Advanced Chemical Engineering with Biotechnology at Imperial, I am immersed in a community that thrives on interdisciplinary research and technological advancement. I am particularly inspired by Imperial’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to translating science into societal benefit. This position represents a unique opportunity to contribute my experience in project management, event organization, and innovation strategy to support Imperial’s start-up and research initiatives, while gaining invaluable exposure to how leading institutions cultivate entrepreneurship and collaboration across science, law, and technology.
