I think it is important within quiz to remember that first of all, it's a game and the ultimate aim is to have fun. However, simply sitting and quizzing (up to) twice a week can lead to losing sight of that goal.

If elected as events officer for quiz society, I would organise a good number of non-quiz related socials, including such activities as bowling and the old faithful drinking, which would hopefully create a more communal atmosphere within the society.

I would also manage and plan end of term socials, encouraging communal activities such as last year's quiz secret santa, as well as helping to make them enjoyable and engaging for everyone, including the addition of non-quiz (and non-Lewisham game) activities.
