Entrepreneurs: Marketing Officer

I am excited to apply for the Entrepreneurs: Marketing Officer position, where I hope to bring together my passion for science, law, and innovation to support Imperial’s dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem. My academic and professional journey has always centered on bridging disciplines to transform ideas into impact. At Columbia University, where I studied Neuroscience and Mathematics, I led a research lab project that strengthened my leadership and organizational skills. Coordinating experiments, mentoring teammates, and managing timelines taught me how to communicate complex ideas clearly and motivate a group toward a shared goal.

Beyond the lab, I helped organize events through the Women in STEM Club, connecting undergraduates and PhD students which was an experience that sparked my interest in creative outreach and community building. In my final year, I deepened my exposure to biotechnology and industry through specialized courses and a project with Blackstone, where I learned how innovation is scaled and communicated beyond academia.

My subsequent focus on patent law further refined my understanding of how ideas move from research to market, and how effective storytelling shapes that journey. Now completing a master’s in Advanced Chemical Engineering with Biotechnology at Imperial, I am eager to apply this interdisciplinary perspective to promoting the university’s entrepreneurial initiatives. I would be thrilled to design engaging campaigns, develop partnerships, and highlight the individuals and ideas driving innovation at Imperial, while gaining hands-on experience in strategic communication within a world-leading environment.
