Mechanical Engineering: Industrial Liaison

Hey everyone!

I’m Jo running to be your Industrial Liaison for this year. Last year was a year of change for MechSoc, but this year I aim to help make us a society reflective of the best Mech Eng department in the UK!

As your Industrial Liaison, I know that Imperial as a global university has the pull, and I will use it to collect as much support from companies as we can. Mech Eng also has a great list of startups that I fully intend to partner with. With that will come lots of food, lots of funding, and hopefully some fun events and talks we all love 😊.

I also plan to use our students as an extended network to help MechSoc expand and reach more industries and companies. As a student body, all of us have some great connections, and using those to take MechSoc to the next level will benefit all of us!
