Hi everyone! I’m Sehr (pronounced Seh-hare), I’m in my second year, and I’m hoping to be your Events Officer this year!

I talk a lot (a bit too much sometimes), but I’m also a great listener — and I genuinely want to hear what you want from ChemSoc events. Whether it’s chill socials, academic support, or collaborations with other societies, I’m always open to suggestions and excited to bring new ideas to life.

The subject can be intense (?quantum?), but that’s exactly why our community (with the best common room) – is so important. I want to make sure we’re making the most of it, and not just during Freshers Week. From movie nights, and quiz evenings to revision drop-ins, I’d endeavour to create a supportive, enriching yet fun environment for everyone. I’m also sure some of you would like more lowkey events/ things to do which is never a problem – everyone is welcome.

And finally, I’m chronically online so I’ll always be around to answer questions, share updates, and keep things running smoothly.
