Adam Marshall

Hello everyone,

My name is Adam Marshall, and I am excited to be running to be your next MathSoc President!

Having served as your Social Events Officer this past year, I've had the pleasure of organising some of our most memorable events, including the annual Mums and Dads evening and the legendary Circle Line pub crawl. This role has given me a fantastic insight into how our society operates and, most importantly, what you, our members, want to see.

I'm running for President because I am passionate about building on the incredible work of our current committee. I have seen the amazing rise of our flagship project, Cauchy Capital, and I want to further allow our members access to some of the incredible speakers we have planned in the future. I promise to deliver you many more amazing events, including:

• The first MathSoc Annual Boat Party! (Currently in the works)
• Integration Bees to allow everyone to showcase your knowledge!
• Weekly talks from guest speakers!
• Many more termly events, such as ice skating, and formal dinners!

As a member of the current committee, I can guarantee there will be no issues of transferral of leadership, as I already know all of the current MathSoc procedures. I am a dedicated and committed candidate, who already knows exactly what the role requires, and is ready to elevate MathSoc to new heights.
