Hello! I am Harshil and I am a 3rd year medical student who is registered blind. I hope to be your next students with disabilities community engagement officer!

I strongly believe in educating and engaging people about disabilities to change their perspectives and alter their thoughts on how they can help individuals with disabilities by generating solutions based approaches to common problems that they face. There are many ways to do this, namely, via interactive online posts, drop in sessions and community discussion / education about pertinent problems and applicable solutions.

As a disabled person myself, I know the struggles of having to advocate for yourself at every turn. Therefore, my main goal as community engagement officer would be to make this easier through addressing and communicating problems to the right people. I would love your input on this too as this is the way we can make the best change!
