Hi Everyone!

I hope you all have had a great start to the academic year! I, for one, am very excited to have extended my time at Imperial with an MSc in Environmental Technology after completing my BSc here. Some of you might recognise me from previous elections and roles such as the RCSU VP (C&S) or DepRep of Life Sciences.

This time, I’m asking for your support as I run for Campaigns Officer in the Ethics & Environment Committee. Sustainability, whether natural or social, has become a passion for me, hence why I have decided to get a Master’s degree in the area. With Imperial promoting sustainable initiatives more than ever before, my goal is to combine work done by students, staff, academics, and alumni to ensure changes are happening in the right direction and complementing one another. I plan to work with Sustainable Imperial, CSPs, and Departments to collaborate in Imperial’s journey to sustainability. Alongside the many ongoing projects, including the Sustainable Imperial Student Ambassador scheme and the Green Careers Fair pitched originally by the Environmental Society, I plan to assist Julia, Ethics&Environment officer, in projects with the Union, supporting inclusivity, integrity, and innovation.

I promise to hear your concerns and address your problems. And I will use my sectoral knowledge to drive impactful change in the College using my experience engaging with students, with student reps in the union, and with staff.
