Hi everyone, I’m Arina. I may be new to the MSc in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Healthcare, but I am already passionate about helping our cohort feel more connected, supported, and heard.
Coming from a Biomedical Sciences background, I understand how much clear communication and a strong sense of community can transform the learning experience. My goal is to make it easy for everyone to share honest feedback and to ensure that our ideas actually lead to change.
If elected, I will:
- Introduce quick “pulse check” surveys and informal meetups so feedback reaches staff early and consistently.
- Host casual socials and networking events that help us connect beyond lectures.
- Foster collaboration between our course and other healthcare programmes to share insights and opportunities.
- Push for transparent communication with staff so students can see how their input shapes the course.
I believe that feeling heard is just as important as being taught. I want our year to be remembered not only for academic success, but for the sense of community and balance we build together.
