I'm Sofia Hueffer, and I'm excited to be running as your Year 3 Academic Representative!
Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as your Year 2 Academic Representative, consistently bringing forward the issues you’ve raised and pushing for meaningful improvements. Thanks to this experience and regular meetings with the programme team, our voices are already being heard! A great example of this, which some of you might remember, includes the new process for selecting group members based on your feedback, the changes to group work, the updates to coursework deadlines, and the adjustments made to the Advanced Machine Learning elective. I’m committed to driving even more positive changes that matter to you.
Being an Academic Representative is no small task (lots of meetings!), but it’s a crucial role in ensuring our course continues to improve, especially with it being so new. With your support, I’ll keep advocating for the changes you want to see.
