Business School (UG): Year One Academic Representative

Hi everyone,

I’m Tina Ding, a first-year student on the EFDS course. I’m running to be your academic representative because I believe our voices matter in shaping how the course develops and I’d like to make sure your ideas and concerns are heard by the department.

As your representative, I will:

Make sure your feedback is promptly shared with staff.
Communicate regularly and clearly to push for positive changes.
Follow up actively to ensure improvements are implemented effectively.

I bring leadership and problem-solving experience from my previous roles. As Chair of the Student Council in junior high, I worked with the principal’s team to improve assessment formats and timing, making exams more balanced and fair. Later, as Founder and President of my high school’s Economics and Finance Club, I strengthened my communication and coordination skills through organizing more than 30 events and discussions —— skills essential for this role.
