Hi! I’m Teja, a first-year EFDS student, and I’m excited to run for Year One Academic Representative to help enrich our experience at Imperial Business School.
My passion for academic excellence and student advocacy comes from meaningful roles I’ve held throughout my secondary school years. As President and Student Rep on the Participation Council at my international school in the Netherlands, my main responsibilities included acting as the voice of students in staff-student committees, lobbying members of staff for changes to learning and teaching, and collecting feedback on academic-related issues.
I also served as Secretary General and Director of Model United Nations, where I organized our school’s first conference in close partnership with student participants, sponsors, and staff, mentored delegates, and represented our school internationally. These experiences strengthened my skills in diplomacy, active listening, and teamwork, and taught me how to amplify the voices of my cohort and drive positive outcomes.
As your Academic Representative, I’ll advocate for open communication, academic support, and inclusive decision-making. I'll bring a fresh perspective and a learning mindset, ready to build on the work of previous reps and enhance our shared academic journey.
