I’m Stephanie and I’m standing to be elected as your Biomedical Sciences Wellbeing Officer for Year 1. As someone who has been a local student in an international school since year 3, I’m used to feeling torn between my culture and wanting to relate to others; a feeling I'm sure many international students are feeling. As we’ve just began settling into university studies, it’s imperative to bridge the gap between university and home. Using my previous experiences as both a prefect in my previous school’s student council and social media and communications officer in my co-owned charity initiative, I can bring an impartial view, allowing students' voices to be heard and considered. As your prospective wellbeing officer, by voting for me, I promise to bring

1. An open line of communication between students and the college
2. Transparency about Wellbeing decisions being made by the college
3. Increased awareness and accessibility of current wellbeing support measures in place
4. Low pressure ways to connect with others and alleviate stresses that may impede everyday life
