Hi everyone! :)

I'm Millie and I'm running for Year Three Biological Sciences Wellbeing Representative. I believe that prioritising wellbeing and mental health is key to academic success, as well as allowing us to enjoy every second of university life that we have left.

I know well enough how stressful university life can be, finding it difficult to strike a balance between enjoying my studies and my personal life. With the added pressure we are feeling in our final year of study, my goal is to make sure everyone feels they have the support they need to flourish socially and academically. I want to help signpost people to the right resources, provide a listening ear for any wellbeing issues that may arise, and make sure no one feels like they’re struggling alone.

I want to be able to provide useful feedback to the department to help ensure that our voices are heard, and that any wellbeing concerns are taken seriously during this important period of our academic careers.

I would really appreciate your support in voting for me this election so that I can put my best foot forwards with helping everyone's year be as successful and enjoyable as possible.
