Hi everyone! I’m running to be your 2nd Year Wellbeing Representative because I want to ensure that everyone in our year feels supported, included and able to maintain a healthy balance between work and life.
Studying Chemical Engineering at Imperial is challenging and rewarding but it can also be intense at times. I want to help create an environment where we can talk openly about wellbeing, look out for each other and make sure no one feels overwhelmed or isolated.
I’m approachable, organised, and always happy to listen. Before university, I was Deputy Head Girl at school, a role that strengthened my communication and leadership skills and taught me how to represent others’ voices effectively.
If elected, I will:
• Encourage open conversations about mental health and wellbeing through informal drop- ins and relaxed meet-ups.
• Promote good work–life balance by advocating for realistic workloads and time for rest and connection.
• Strengthen communication between students and staff to ensure feedback on wellbeing is heard and acted upon.
• Help build a stronger, more supportive course community.
My goal is to make wellbeing an everyday part of our course culture - not just something we focus on when things get difficult.
Vote Lizzie for Course Wellbeing Rep!
Together, we can make our course a place where everyone feels supported and able to thrive.
