Hey guys! I'm Sunny, and I'm a first-year Biological Sciences student from Hong Kong. It is a pleasure to be running for Wellbeing Representative and hopefully be serving you all. Thank you all very much for checking out my profile, and please view my manifesto attached below.
Why I'd be suited:
- 2 years leading the largest charity group in Harrow Hong Kong and volunteering at Mother's Choice, which included organising fun events for asylum seeker's children
-
1 year as Food and Nutrition Ambassador for Harrow Hong Kong
-
Liaised with charity organisers at Branches of Hope Summer School to prepare events and classes for students
-
Created well-being systems in the form of class-level representative projects for students to be able to bring up personal and academic issues
What I want to do:
-
Organise anonymous sessions that connect struggling students to a relevant member of staff who may help with the specified problem
-
Represent international students and raise awareness on the alienation that may come with moving to a new environment
-
Promote cohesion between students by connecting students with similar struggles to encourage help within the student populous
I hope this manifesto provides a clear message of what I am attempting to accomplish if I am nominated as the Wellbeing Representative. Thank you again for reading!
