Siobhan Oghughu

Hello everyone! I’m Siobhan, and am pleased to be running for Academic Rep for our final year of BMB. ✨

If you’re anything like me, you’re super excited for this year and can’t stop dreaming about walking the Royal Albert Hall stage in a year’s time (or two, for those on the Management pathway)! 🎓🎓 But also, you’re hoping to achieve a particular degree classification and aren’t too sure how your performance in your placement/short modules are going to help you or get in the way of achieving the desired grade.

As Academic Rep, I will ensure that every query, every piece of feedback, everything you have to say about the course will be taken on board. 📋✅ This is of utmost importance, not only for our year group but also for the future generations to come. Year 3 will especially be different to what we have experienced in years 1-2: with everyone being on a unique placement, and with the rapid-fire short modules, we may have different experiences with things like teachings, feedback, deadlines etc., and we may cope very differently. I plan to ensure everyone’s voice is heard by sending out forms to the cohort so that everyone has opportunity to speak their honest opinion, and I will take this to the course leads so that they can be acted upon. 💪💯
