Hey guys, hope everyone's placements are going well!

Hopefully you recognise me but if not, my name is Ibrahim and I am running to be your academic representative! (yes, I am trying again and that is me with a puppy :))

Let's not sugarcoat it: BMB can be amazing but also sometimes let us down, either with something not working or lack of direction - this is where I can help you guys! But to answer the key question, why should you vote for me?

• Empathetic - being in your cohort, trust when I say I fully empathise with your frustrations when things don't work right, and I can relay your concerns back to FEO and bridge that gap in communication
• Experienced - As year 2 lead for the Biomedical Education society, I bridge the gap between the year 2 cohort and the committee, and in a similar way I wish to act for our cohort, but also bring meaningful changes for our cohort and future year 3 cohorts by liaising more with FEO!
• Reliable - I hope to work effectively with FEO, the BMB academic officer, and you all to ensure our opinions are heard!
• Open to feedback - outside of termly SSLG meetings, I am always down for a chat if something is bothering you, academically or otherwise <3

It's been a great two years (albeit with some lows) but together I'm sure we can end year 3 on a high note! Thank you all and I hope you consider voting for me!
