Fiona Fusenig

Hello, my name is Fiona Fusenig and I’m running for Academic Representative this year!

I feel very strongly about fairness and am deeply committed to advocating for the interests of our year group. I want to represent our cohort and work hard to implement meaningful changes to improve the academic experience for each and every one of you.

The recent change to our examination style was a surprise to many of us and motivated me to run for this role, as I believe that we deserve a fair academic experience, especially regarding assessments.

If elected, I will actively and persistently engage with the teachers and cohort leaders to communicate all your ideas to implement changes that we are all happy with. Further, I will always be free to listen to concerns or complaints – whether through messages, forms or one-to-one meetings – to make sure everyone’s voice is heard and academic concerns do not persist.

I previously had the role of a House Representative at my boarding school where I developed communication and negotiation skills while standing up for my peers – skills I would love to bring into the role of Academic Rep!
