RCSU: RAG Officer

Hello everyone, I am Yuvraj Gupta. Over the past few years, I’ve seen how powerful small acts of giving can be - from fundraising for science kits to leading educational workshops for children. Those experiences taught me that charity isn’t just about raising money - it’s about building connections, empathy, and community.

As RAG Officer, I want to bring that same spirit to Imperial - where science meets service, and every event leaves an impact.

My vision:

1) Themed Flagship Events: Host large-scale charity nights like RCSU Winter Gala for Good or Science Carnival, where all ticket proceeds go to RAG causes.

2) Department Challenges: Introduce friendly “Department Showdowns” - Physics vs Biochem dodgeball, Chemistry vs LifeSci bake-offs - with points going to a fundraising leaderboard.

3) RCSU Charity Week: A full week each term dedicated to fun faculty-wide fundraisers - bake sales, lab coat relays, quiz nights, and “Science Buskers” taking experiments to Queen’s Lawn.

Giving back has always been a part of who I am - and I want to help make it part of who we are as a student community.
