Postgraduate Taught Academic & Welfare Officer (Medicine)

Pursuing a postgraduate degree at Imperial College London is an exciting journey of innovation, collaboration, and discovery. Yet, it also comes with challenges that require strong representation and effective communication between students and faculty. I am running for the position of Postgraduate Academic & Welfare officer to ensure that every student’s voice is heard, valued, and translated into meaningful change.

When elected, I will work closely with faculty to strengthen feedback systems, enhance supervisor–student communication, and ensure academic support remains accessible and consistent across departments. I will also advocate for improved well-being initiatives, including mental health resources, peer support structures, and balanced workloads that enable students to excel without compromising their personal well-being.

Imperial’s diversity is one of its greatest strengths, and I am committed to ensuring that the opinions of all students, regardless of their background, are fully represented and included in key discussions and opportunities. I will also champion professional development by encouraging mentorship and networking opportunities that connect students with researchers, alumni, and industry professionals. Thus leading to academic learning and real-world impact.

With years of leadership experience in youth development, I bring empathy, collaboration, and a proven track record of delivering results. Together, we can create a postgraduate community where everyone thrives academically, professionally, and personally.
