Hi there! I’m Gabby and I am running for academic representative this year. I would love to be a spokesperson for my fellow students by communicating any issues that arise and creating the best conditions for our education. My main goal is simple: I want an integrated master’s course. This is an opportunity which is being made available to students starting the course next year, but not for us. I think this is unfair as it means we have to apply for a master’s course separately, which can be extremely competitive; as well as this it can be expensive. This is why, as academic representative, I would advocate for the MSci option to be made available to us this year, alongside making sure everyone’s voices are heard to guarantee this can be an enjoyable year for students and staff alike.
