Tracy Chen

Hello! I am Tracy Chen, running for first year academic representative for biochemistry. Like you, I am also navigating the transition from school to university, and I understand that it is overwhelming at times, so I aim to create a strong sense of community within our course and advocate for your academic needs. My goal is to make sure our cohort feels supported and heard throughout our first year at Imperial! In addition, I want to ensure you guys have a strong bridge between students and faculty, in doing this I would regularly take the time and effort to listen to everyone’s concerns and suggestions. Then, I will advocate for the relevant meaningful changes to improve our student experience, working closely with lecturers and departmental staff. Moreover, I want to promote academic collaboration by encouraging study groups and peer support networks. If elected, I promise to be friendly, approachable and proactive in representing you.
