Hi everyone! I’m running for Academic Officer for Clinical Years because I’m passionate about ensuring every student feels supported, confident, and empowered throughout their clinical journey. These years are some of the most exciting and formative parts of our degree, and while the transition to placements can be overwhelming, I want to make sure we all have the guidance, structure, and resources to thrive both academically and personally.
As a CPA/OSCE mentor, I’ve helped students strengthen their practical and communication skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for the value of peer-led learning. Through my role as an In2MedSchool mentor, I’ve championed accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, feels supported in reaching their potential. I’ve also contributed to the medical school notebank, supporting peer-led resource sharing and helping students navigate challenging topics.
Beyond mentoring, my roles as Sponsorship Officer for Vision and Vice President of Marketing for Friends of MSF have developed my organisation, teamwork, and leadership skills — all essential for effective advocacy for students and coordination within the SU.
If elected, I’ll:
-
Strengthen feedback and representation between students and faculty.
-
Expand peer-led revision, mentoring, and OSCE support.
-
Improve access to consistent, high-quality academic resources across all sites.
-
Promote wellbeing and balance throughout the clinical years.
With enthusiasm, empathy, and experience, I’ll ensure every ICSM student feels heard, supported, and ready to excel. Together, we can make the clinical years more cohesive, collaborative, and empowering for everyone.
