Khushi Joshi

Hey everyone!

I'm Khushi, and I'm running to be your Academic Rep! Over the past months, I've built something I call The Student Biome, a growing resource hub with notes, summaries, and study materials for Years 1, 2, and 3. This Biome already has a ton of useful content, and I'll be sharing all of it with everyone, regardless of whether I'm elected or not.

But as your Academic Rep, I want to take it even further. Here's my vision:

1. I'll ensure that your voices and concerns reach the staff clearly. Whether it's about teaching quality, assessment formats, or support systems, I'll proactively represent our collective interests and make sure our needs are heard and acted upon.

2. Miscommunication can be frustrating. I'll work to make sure every update, response, and meeting outcome is communicated clearly, leaving no room for confusion. You'll always know what's happening, when, and why.

3. Being Academic Rep would allow me to liaise directly with the right people: lecturers, course leads, and departmental reps, to secure better support and resources for us all.

4. I'll use this role to grow the Biome into a complete resource bank, with:

- Notes for every module.

- A question bank for last-minute revision and quick concept checks.

- Cram-friendly summaries for exam season.

- Curated extra materials to strengthen understanding and boost confidence.

Together, we can make our course a place where everyone feels supported, prepared, and connected.
