Academic reps need to be actively engaged with the course delivery and faculty. If anything, the number of emails I've sent to faculty about the course show I already spend way too much time emailing lecturers and I don’t think that’s going to change.

The biggest changes I would want to push for are:

• Having more support for post-graduate applications – By 3^rd year we are at a point when people are considering specialties or research and having some structured sessions early on to provide some guidance of what to do or even where to look could make a huge difference
• Pushing for more consistent lecture timings – not having a short break in a 9-5 day of lectures can make the later sessions impossible to properly focus on
• Releasing up to date slides - Sometimes slides from up to 3 years prior are so different you spend more time trying to spot the differences than listening to the lecturer
• Session plannign of lectures vs tutorials – Some sessions such as PVB or Comm skills could be far more engaging in a more interacting small group teaching format and content could even be a GOL to prepare before the session.
