Hi, I’m Catherine and I'm so excited to run to be academic rep for this year!

I care deeply about making this year as smooth, supportive, and successful as possible for every single one of us. If elected, my goal would be to support our incredible year group in reaching our full potential, together.

I would love to campaign for better revision support, standardised notebank documents and Anki sets, wider access to past papers, and more structured revision groups and peer mentoring. I want to help us work towards a 100% pass rate, by making sure nobody feels left behind. I plan to signpost useful resources, society-led tutorials, Imperial conferences and wider academic opportunities to present research and boost academic confidence.

As the current elected BMA representative for Imperial, I’m fortunate to be a part of national discussions with other medical schools on the Medical Schools Committee. This gives me unique insight into what works elsewhere- from academic support schemes to innovative revision tools and applications, and it would be an honour to bring the very best of those ideas back to our cohort.

I’m organised, approachable, and passionate about creating an environment where everyone feels heard and supported. I also believe a strong rep team should reflect the diversity of our year, with every background, every voice, every perspective.

Let’s prove that Phase 1b doesn’t have to be the academic nightmare we’ve been warned about- together, we can turn it into a year of collaboration, growth, and shared success.
