Hey everyone! I'm excited to be running for the position of academic rep this year.

As an academic rep, I will:

• Provide a point of connection between students and faculty, and be open to hearing any and all of your concerns
• Ensure that your opinions are fed back to the faculty (FILL OUT THE SSLGs!!!)
• Devise plans of action to enforce changes when needed
• Relay faculty decisions to you transparently so we're all in the loop!

I am fit for this role because:

• I am very academically involved; I passed with Phase 1a with a distinction* and received the Mildred Lees prize
• I make sure to attend sessions regularly and am an active part of the student body, so I can empathize with your concerns
• I was the president of my school's Mental Health Club, which gave me experience with listening to students' concerns and taking action on the same
• I provide a friendly and open presence for you to share anything :)

I take this role and the responsibilities that come with it seriously, and hope I can do our cohort justice!
