Hi everyone, I am Sayanen. I hope second year is going well!

With the lack of POM and the fact that we’ve done a year of med already, you would think it’s getting easier, but the content seems to be constantly piling up! Like how have we already had an EFA?! I am running for the position of academic rep again, as I want to hear the challenges that you’re facing and any concerns about the course that you have. I believe that the role allows for real change to occur and for students’ ideas to be implemented. For example, last year, I worked with the PVB module leads to publish the PVB assessments page before our exams.

I greatly enjoyed being a rep last year but I also want to improve the ways in which you can convey your concerns: I hope to make the process quicker and easier by collecting your input in smaller batches and reducing our reliance on long surveys.

I hope to continue to pass on your ideas to faculty, with the other reps, to make sure your voices are heard.
