Aishah Faisal

Hello everyone! I’m Aishah, and I’m running to be your Year 4 Academic Rep.

I want to ensure our cohort’s voices are represented because I believe it is essential for a productive academic experience. My experience as a student ambassador and undergraduate teaching assistant has equipped me to communicate effectively with staff and provide meaningful support to you.

If elected, my focus will be on three key areas:

1. Clear Communication and Advocacy: I will proactively share your feedback, concerns and suggestions with the department. I will also ensure you always have clear information on deadlines and what is expected in assessments.
2. Academic Support: I plan to create an organised filing system for optional modules and past paper discussions to make your exam preparation more efficient. Building on the excellent work of our previous reps, I will also continue arranging revision sessions, both student-led and lecturer-led.
3. Strengthening Our Community: I will partner closely with our Wellbeing Rep to plan fun activities and help keep us connected.

Even though we are working more independently this year, I am committed to ensure you feel strongly supported and fairly represented. Let me be your voice, and let's make the most of our final year together!
