>50% year-over-year budgetary increase; ~60% increase of in-house development and fabrication; exceeding top learning objectives; 5th place of 3600 internationally. These are just some measurable outcomes I helped to or wholly facilitated while leading FIRST Robotics Team 5804. Managing a competitive engineering team of >40 students and mentors across numerous sub-teams grants me particular skills in networking, lobbying, problem solving, leadership, and conflict resolution. Differing from typical "class representative" roles, my team lead position required me to justify our organization's very existence, a venture closer to cutthroat industry than secondary. I'm uniquely poised, therefore, to lobby for your best interests, having great prior success in persuading decision-makers.
My intended policy is simple, meet the needs of my cohort before or as they arise. Not only am I pledging to do this in a representative capacity, but I also promise to render academic help in any areas in which I have supercurricular knowledge. In so doing, I will help hone the skillsets of my constituents to be best suited for industry, the same way I have for years.
A vote for me is a vote for an active leader, one who works on both the personal and administrative levels, ensuring you get the best learning outcome. I will support you in every area in which I am reasonably able, drawing from a range of experiences from learner to leader. Having climbed every rung of that ladder, I now extend my hand to you, just as you cast your vote to me.
