Hey everyone, I’m Neel, and I’m running to be your Y1 Course Rep.

I'll keep it short, I'm sure you're busy.

Why me:

I’m active, curious, and I genuinely care about making our course as useful (and survivable) as possible. I also really care about our course being relevant to the careers (basically quant), that we are all aiming for. This is evidenced by the email spam you guys have been getting from EdStem about me posting some stupid question or another.
I like figuring out what we need to know, where to find it, and how to do it efficiently.

Why I’m doing it:
It’s a great way to meet more of you and make friends across the course. But also, I want to make sure what we’re learning actually lines up with where we’re headed. I’m not afraid to speak up when something feels unfair - I’m probably too good at whining and complaining - but that means I’ll always make sure our concerns reach the people who can fix them.
And finally…
I’m in this for the long run. You can tell because this manifesto is clearly not polished enough to be LLM generated: I will put in the time! Writing sucks (I think we can all agree on that) - but I’ll get the ideas across to the staff in charge of the course.
