I'm not here to start a revolution, I just want to make a few basic things slightly quicker and easier. Right now, emails are all a little longer than they need to be, google forms sometimes have a few too many questions... I mean, you probably don't need my CID AND email. Little things like that.

For example, I thought the recent IUM coursework was quite clumsily put together. The long instructions on how the submission system works, needlessly specific filename requirements, the fact they changed the details of the assignment after releasing it (from paper-based to digital/paper-based). Don't get me wrong, that's a change in the right direction, but it didn't help the fact some of us (including me 😅) had started off using paper.

It's not ground-breaking stuff. I just feel things could be tightened up a little to improve student experience. We're all spending a little too long doing things we didn't come here to do. The less time we spend on admin, the better.
