Hello, my name is Adam and I am a fellow year 1 undergraduate studying Chemistry with Molecular Physics.
I myself am a home student from Kent who went through the English school system and completed A levels. However we all have different academic backgrounds - whether that's by qualification, country or type of school. Yet despite these differences we now all have the fact that we are studying Chemistry at Imperial in common. If I were elected as the year one Academic Representative for Chemistry, I would advocate for all, recognizing that we will all have different academic hurdles during our time at Imperial and that we are all unique individuals.
One issue that I particularly have found since starting the course, is keeping track of different assignments and there deadlines. That's why as academic representative I would aim to streamline this, preventing the annoying scrolling through blackboard that I am sure that we will all become far too familiar with. Additionally, in our current timetable, all of our lectures are condensed to the end of the week, as academic representative I would bring this to our faculty's attention and advocate for a more evenly distributed timetable throughout the week.
Vote for me, Adam Fox, for Chemistry year one Academic Representative. I am always open to talk - let your voice be heard!
